A balmy summer evening, friends, a good film and a great venue! This is Movies by Burswood at Curtin.
Our team worked on a tight timeframe, coinciding the completion of the Henderson Court upgrade and its main link to the bus station and car park with the start of the summer outdoor cinema season.
The result is fantastic – making a night at the movies a memorable event. It also looks just like how we had a originally imagined it when preparing the place activation plan.
Our work included catenary lighting in Henderson Court; a well lit, functional yet attractive and universally accessible path between the campus heart and the bus station; and sparkle lighting in the pine trees of the Great Court. It was fun eavesdropping on cinema goers talking about how wonderful the space is! I recommend treating yourself to a night out under the stars.
